We all know that the first two weeks of Varsity, so aptly called Orientation, is more dedicated to the …ehhem ….”Social” benefits of continuing with tertiary education. These experiences will provide you with memories that will make you laugh/cringe/use as ammunition against your friends/ for the rest of your life! Apart from joining clubs just for the freebie they are offering at the fresher fair, getting lost on campus, meeting a few hundred new people, you will also be partying like the world will end! Ahhhhh the KEG KING truly cherished those varsity days! Where Beer was the motivator for all activities, and you could just enjoy life with the safe knowledge that the ice cold, golden nectar would be waiting for you at the end of the day all with the excuse that you are a student, so whats the problem!!! No better time in life if you ask me! This is why KEG KING is simply the best choice for the FRAT PARTIES you are just about to go to. Don’t forget to hook up with us for the ULTIMATE Orientation week…. Lets make this year LEGENDARY!!!!!!

Well, It’s that time of the year again when everything at KEG KING gets a little HECTIC! Right now it’s all a big blur with deliveries and collections, 21st birthday parties, Christmas functions, even weddings! As we all know, the shopping centers are now a battle of tightly packed bodies, rushing around with absent minds about which present to buy auntie or uncle this year, but spare a thought also for those who have huge parties to cater for. The mother who is holding the millionth Christmas dinner at HER house, the young couple who are tying the knot and regretfully chose December. All these people surely have the mission of finding something to wet the pallet of all those expectant attendees. And obviously the best choice for any party is BEER, to which we solute! Wherever you are this festive season, and with whomever you are celebrating, make it special, be happy and drive safe!

Well it had finally arrived! Cape Town’s first Festival of Beer, a weekend that KEG KING had been excitedly awaiting for a LOOOONNNNGGG time! With over 45 different types of beer who could resist spending the day in the beautiful sunshine surrounded by the good people of Cape Town and tasting the wonders of south african breweries?
As an exhibitor, KEG KING arrived early on Thursday morning to set up the stand, and the atmosphere was buzzing! It appeared everyone was happy to be involved with such a huge project for CAPE TOWN.
There was so much to entertain the beer lovers, with various food stalls, wine stands, and of course brewery bars where vouchers would allow for tasters of every beer available! Needless to say quite a few people were red faced and merry by the end of the festivities!!
A number of different bands played throughout each day filling the tents and seating areas with an Oktober fest feel. It is one band in particular however that caught the ears of KEG KING staff and that was ME and MR BROWN. What a fantastic band, with great energy, music to suit all and never a note out of tune! HATS OFF TO YOU GUYS!!!!
KEG KING found the overall experience to be very sucessful! We had a huge amount of enquiries and people wanting to know what kind of service we were promoting! Many were impressed with the concept!
We will definately be on the lookout for similar events. Keep an eye open for KEG KING at the next Beer Fest!!

Finally, draught beer for your next party.
After having applied for a liquor license from the Western Cape Liquor Board in November 2008, we finally received our long awaited license in August 2009. This means that we can start delivering the finest draught beer directly to you for your function or party.
There are some exciting events and activation planned for the build up to summer to launch Keg King to the market, so watch this space.
